ANZCHAM Mission

To be a highly effective organization that visibly supports and promotes business relationships between Australia, New Zealand and the Philippines.


The Chamber is dedicated to the following objectives:
1.
To cooperate with the Government of the Republic of the Philippines and other public bodies in the Philippines to further the economic development and prosperity of the Philippines with particular reference to the promotion of foreign investment;
2.
To promote and facilitate commerce and industry in the Philippines, especially that between the Philippines, Australian and New Zealand, and the interests of persons and firms engaged in such commerce and industry.
3.
To cultivate friendly relations between the people in Australia, New Zealand and the people of the Philippines.
4.
To provide ways and means to protect and enhance Australian and New Zealand business interest in the Philippines;
5.
To collect, collate and disseminate information relating to business, commerce and industry;
6.
To provide the means for the convenient exchange of ideas concerning commerce and industry between the Philippines and Australian and New Zealand;
7.
To provide opportunities of social contact among Australians and New Zealanders and other families residing in the Philippines;
8.
To adjust controversies between members of the Chambers and to coincide and arbitrate disputes arising out of commercial transactions between members of the Chambers and/or parties willing to abide by the judgment and decision of the Chamber;
9.
To promote and maintain uniformity in the rules, regulations, usages, and practices of trade;
10.
To communicate with Chambers of Commerce and other public and/or private bodies in the Philippines, in Australia and throughout the world with a view to promoting measures for the facilitation of trade; and
11.
Generally, to do all such things as may appear to be incidental or conducive to the attainment of the above objectives, provided, however that the Chamber shall at all times be a non-political entity and shall not support with its funds any political or trade union/organization.
